Sonesta ES Suites Atlanta Alpharetta North Point Mall

I gave it four stars because they're not doing a good job with maintenance. Dirty, banged up trash cans next to the doors, banged up doors. I was turned off by some of this at first. But once inside, the hallways and the room were really nice. Almost Marriott quality. But really, the people made the difference for me. From the desk person who checked us in, to the wonderful woman who checked us out, to Natasha who works the breakfast room. They kept turning lemons into lemonade. They were wonderful, pleasant, smiling, people who gave me amazing customer service. Thank you!

Considering it is a 3 star rated hotel, it was very good. The staff at the reservation desk were all friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff did a great job. The room was quiet, clean, and spacious. The carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced.

Overall, it was a pretty big pleasant to stay in this extended. Stay through hotel. Room was clean, bed was comfy, but it's located in a high retail area.

for the price, it’s solid. kitchen had everything — pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, baking sheet, clean fridge, all that. room was clean and cozy. bathroom’s fine, just older and comes with shampoo, conditioner, body soap. no lotions or anything else. area felt safe, kind of like an apartment complex. parking is $6/night and there’s a $100 deposit that was returned the next day. short walking distance of restaurants, shopping, mall, and movies. staff was nice. outdoor pool, free breakfast, and even a water bowl in the lobby for pets. only weird thing was the hallway door not locking. overall, i’d stay again.

I would give this hotel a 10/10. After I booked, I saw these reviews and I was shocked to read so many negative ones. None of them were true for us. This is a very nice and accommodating hotel in a safe and nice area. So many walkable restaurants and stores (even in the July heat) The pool was amazing and we canceled plans one full day just to hang out at the pool during our stay. The breakfast was incredible. We didn’t see a single bug anywhere. I would stay here again if I was in this area.

The room was really nice. The shower floor was a bit dirty. The staff was really friendly.

The room is a nice set up. We had the two bedroom 2 bath. The only issues I did have is that the iron didn’t work properly and the doors for some reason won’t stay “cracked”, like I didn’t want the doors completely shut but the bedroom and bathroom doors had to be shut completely or open all the way. Same with the shower door, it didn’t close all the way. Other than than it was a pleasant experience and the front desk staff were wonderful! Nice, professional, and attentive. I will definitely return if I have to.
